Why “Noumeny”?
The title of my paintings “Noumeny”, draws from Kantian philosophy. In Kant’s terms, a noumenon is a “thing-in-itself” - the reality that exist beyond our perception. While the mind can never fully grasp it, it can sense its presence.
The plural form, noumena, refers to these unknowable realities, but for the purposes of this exhibition, “Noumeny” serves as an artistic, accessible interpretation: a space where abstract forms hint at the unseen and invite viewers to experience the invisible structures of reality.
